Survey on Challenges and Future Scope Internet of Things in Indian Agriculture Sector

Abstract

Internet plays a crucial role in Information and communication technologies [ICT]. In resend decades it started to adopt in smart farming sectors. The term Smart farming represents the implementation of Modern technologies into conventional agriculture methods. It combines with Internet of Things [IoT], sensors and actuators, robotics, geo-positioning systems and unmanned aerial vehicles ext. Smart farming will create massive impacts on the agriculture sector. By adopting the smart technologies the farmers may easily able to manage the farm practice remotely and the sensors are executed in the agriculture land, livestock and soil for real-time data measurement. In this paper surveys the IoT adoption in smart farming, IoT architecture and IoT applications in different agriculture sectors. And finally summarize challenges and threats faced by IoT smart farming.
