Design and Conversion of Voltage from 0.5v to 1.8v and -1.8v Level Shifter

Abstract

This paper focus on low level input to high level output converted by level shifter. A LECC and preamplifier and latch three stages are used in LS. In LS one section played vital role (i.e. pre amplifier), reciprocal output signals produced by this stage. Full swing signals converted by using latch. In 90nm cadence CMOS tools are used to design LS. 20 transistors are used in existing system, in proposed system this count reduced to 18 transistors. The power delay and voltage are reduced by this task. It is used increment voltages from 0.5V to 1.8V and -1.8v. Three factors are require to increment the voltages (i.e. input=0.4V and supply=1.8V and frequency=10 kHz).
