Abstract

Predicting the outcome of a sport game has always been a very keen area of interest for any sport fan, followers, analysts etc. Winning a game is the most important goal in any game. Hence, complex algorithms must be implemented to make the most possible and likely outcome. There are various factors which influence the outcome of a tennis match such as the win percentage of both the players, head to head records, performance in the previous 12 months etc. These parameters are the major result influencing parameters. All of these parameters are to be taken into consideration and used to develop an algorithm which can be used to predict the result of a tennis match. This algorithm can be used in real-world games to predict the outcome of Tennis games at professional level. This algorithm has been implemented on many games of the Australian Open 2019 to test for the outcomes of the algorithm.
