Supply Chain Management and Total Quality Management in Textile Manufacturing Companies, Bandung

Abstract

Textile manufacturing companies had some problems such as weak human resources when implementing a new system within the enterprise that requires training and adaptations, related raw materials on the availability or supply to meet the needs of industry. Often constraints in terms of raw materials due to a limited number, not uncommon obstacles such as lack of supply of raw materials, the purchase of raw materials at high prices, the occurrence of errors in determining the purchase of raw materials, and so forth. The aim of study to solve the problem requires a management role in the planning of the company's survival. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis using simple regression. The collection of data obtained through questionnaires with a sample of 104 employees at eight manufacturing companies in Bandung. The results showed a positive effect of supply chain management and total quality management significantly influence either directly or indirectly.
