K. Krishna Kishore and Dr.P. Rajesh Kumar
Abstract

One of the adopted multi-carrier modulation system in wireless communication is Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) for its immense mobility and significant data rates. Despite significant interests, the OFDM experiences a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Modulation techniques used in OFDM is QAM and QPSK. In this, we investigated the performance of the OFDM system by exploring with a new modulation technique APSK with prevailing techniques like QAM, QPSK. We examined the variation in PAPR with and without Partial Transmit Sequence for various modulation techniques, by considering Binary and gray code as an input data stream.
