Quality management system (QMS) ISO 9001:2008 has been implemented in many manufacturing organizations as well as in service industries. This paper briefly review on how quality management system ISO 9001:2008 has been implemented in private higher education institutions (HEI) and how does it effect on the employee performance specifically on academic staff. Population of the study refers to the private HEI which have been implementing ISO 9001:2008 and questionnaires have been designed for the academic staff to answer them. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) using Smart PLS 3.0 has been used to analyse since it will assist to develop theories in this descriptive research.
