A survey was conducted among a community of practice for user experience design (UXD) in Malaysia with instrument consisting of open ended questions. The study elicited the frustration factors that are constraints to the practice of UXD in Malaysia. These factors were classified as taxonomies using grounded theory approach. The result revealed the following classification of frustration factors: knowledge, skills, motivation, awareness, communication, attitude, resources, organization, culture and time.
