This paper proposes customized comparators which can meet the needs of biomedical applications. Modified bulk driven dynamic comparators with cascade current source are proposed that have low power, low dynamic offset and are also proficient of identifying the smallest amount of input voltage change of about 0.1mV. Proposed structures are designed and simulated with supply voltages of both 0.6V and 1.2V at 1MHz frequency using gpdk 180nm CMOS technology. The power, delay and power delay products of the proposed are tabulated and compared with the conventional dynamic structures of comparators along with the bulk driven designs and are proven to be better.
