Context aware systems (CAS) are successful method to deal with everyday life activities. Context aware frameworks present altogether new opportunities for developers of application and end users by collecting context data and adjusting systems conduct appropriately. In this paper, we present context aware systems: a survey. This survey presents the context aware systems idea, network architecture, application, UI and presented comprehensive details of each layer of context aware systems. As the result of the survey, we layout a general procedure in CASs and clarified the architecture contemplations of CASs.
