Industrial Drives Control based on Self Adaptive Fuzzy PID Controller Using Controller Area Network

Abstract

Now a day’s modern industrial control technologies are more expected in the control of DC motors and induction motor. In this paper a proposed method of self-adaptive fuzzy PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) logic networked control using CAN (Controller Area Network) bus for dc motor and induction motor is explained and many factors discussed with the help of simulation results. The main aim of fuzzy PID logic controller method is not only to improve the characteristics but also comparing the results with fuzzy, PID and fuzzy PID controller. The simulated results are obtained by using MATLAB/SIMULINK and from the result it is concluded that DC motor can be controlled by self-adaptive fuzzy PID CAN control and for induction motor self-adaptive fuzzy PI CAN based control is the best.
