Cloud computing provides a distributed computing environment forstorage necessity, execution of application, processing of information, availability of data, analytics and other demanding services. The main challenges of cloud storage security involve providing integrity, data recoverability and avoiding single point of failure. In order to meet the challenges of cloud security, a Multi-Authority based Data Fragment Technique for Secure Storage in cloud computing is proposed. In order to avoid single point of failure, both Central Authority (TA) and Verification Authority (VA) are used. For providing storage security, a file is fragmented into set of n blocks. Using Cipher text Policy Attribute Based Encryption (CP-ABE) each fragmented block is encrypted. The encrypted block is then attached with a signature tag using a set of secrets. Ahomomorphic verification scheme is applied to check the integrity of the blocks. The proposed technique of data fragmentation and recovery time results are shown by simulation.
