Big data offers various services to the user and it is has a hot topic for research. As the amount of data is increased by every year the data breaching of the individuals is also increased. Big data needs large storage and computational power as it uses the distributed systems. As many people are participated on those systems the privacy violation is also increased. Large numbers of privacy preserving mechanisms are developed to protect privacy information. All the activities are involved during different stages such as data generation, data processing and data storage in the cloud server. In this paper, we discuss an overview about the privacy preservation at different stages in the big data and also we propose the privacy preservation during the process of big data and so the adversaries cannot able to identify the data and the data is secured in the cloud environment.
