Economic Power Dispatch is definitely the method of assigning the necessary power demand involving the offered creating units by simply most efficient, affordable and trustworthy operation to diminish the expense of operation. Thermal power plants are fossil fuelled stations which releases considerable amount of harmful pollutants. This will leads to global warming. So during the dispatch problem, consider all those emissions into account. While considering this emission with fuel cost, the economic dispatch becomes environmental economic dispatch (EED) problem. So many optimization techniques are available in to solve this type of highly intricate non-conventional multi-objective optimization problem. This paper gives Self Adaptive Differential Evolution Algorithm protocol to solve the EED trouble of energy units. The SADE is known as a population structured, highly stochastic function optimizer using vector differences to get perturbing the citizenry. Here for analysis of SADE technique an Indian Utility system having six generating units are considered for a particular load demand. The minimum fuel cost and least emission are obtained for the problem.
