In this work, an innovative scheme of execution of PID controller based on BBO algorithm for speed controller in which performance of the two techniques is evaluated by setting its objective function with integral absolute error (ISE). Results are compared with Z-N method to achieve globally minimum value of its objective functions. This paper offerings an investigation and implementation of controllers such as PID controller, Biogeography based optimization algorithm (BBO) for controlling of speed of dc motor and finds optimum results such as peak time, over shoot, and transient response.
