The adjustable speed electric drive based on double inverter-fed induction motor mathematical and analytical models are considered and analyzed in the article, the energy performances of such type of AC electric drive system equations which describe are determined. The influence of rotor current frequency on energy performances of motor drive in steady-state at field-oriented control is considered. The minimum of stator steel losses condition ensures at a predetermined speed and possibility of operating at speeds up to double rated without the flux linkage reducing are presented.
