Abstract

Ergonomic risk factors for workers in the Tropitagua association workshops correspond to a current problem where risk factors related to musculoskeletal disorders of origin are identified occupational (DMEs), generating shortcomings in the health status of workers. Likewise, it was necessary to take actions aimed at preventing these diseases, whose main objective was to evaluate four jobs, using two methodologies such as: Individual Risk Assessment (ERIN) and Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaires method (CMDQ): to compare results and contrast them with the number of diseases registered by job title. Direct observation was made of the jobs, such as photographs and footage, which allowed the application of the methods. The results showed coincidence in the levels of risk between ERIN and CORNELL in the four jobs. This research instructs how primary actions aimed at preventing (DMEs) can has carried out without incurring large costs.
