Electrical energy is the indispensable factor for effective economical growth and development of nations. In order to meet the power demand cost minimized eco friendly alternative sources with efficient utilization of the power to be explored. Hybrid renewable energy sources are playing a vital role to overcome the power demand problems. The major demerits of renewable power sources are unpredictability and irregularity. Usually, irregularity results in both expected and impulsive variations. In order to overcome these braw backs, meticulous design considerations have to needed. Integrating the different renewable energy sources along with supporting auxiliary backup and storage considerations may overcome the above mentioned demerits. This confirms that increase in overall cost of the power systems. Therefore, an efficient design considerations and espouse of an efficient energy management scheme (EMS) is vital to obtain cost effective system and minimizing the demerits. The energy management scheme is chosen so that, it integrated with optimized continuous power supplies for consumers and also minimize the cost of per unit energy generation. Therefore, energy management of integrated renewable energy sources is a scheme which gives effective control and minimizes the irregularity of RES. This interns results in cost effective energy to the consumers. This paper presents a review of the various schemes anticipated and also used by different authors elsewhere in the world. These schemes include both the different combinations of different renewable hybrid energy systems and also interconnected hybrid grid systems.
