In this paper, we have formulated an economic order quantity inventory model for a deteriorating item having a twofold deterministic demand rate. The Constant demand rate in the first part of the cycle and the exponential demand rate in the second part of the cycle has been taken. We also considered deterioration rate is time sensitive in nature and Shortages are not the part of this model. A complete solution procedure is provided to demonstrate the proposed model. Also, a numerical example and sensitivity analysis of various unknown parameters illustrated in this model.
