360-degree feedback is based on the idea that in order for people to improve performance on any task, it’s necessary for them to receive feedback about what they are doing right, what they are doing wrong, and what they need to change to do better. The study mainly aims at examining the 360-degree performance appraisal technique in IT Industry. This study is conducted with the help of primary data collected from IT sector using convenience sampling method. It can be concluded that 360-degree feedback can help employees see themselves in an entirely new light, it can also bring personal growth, team development and improvement of whole company.
