Human capital is the biggest resource of any organization. Safety is the main requirement in all industries. There is always the possibility of an accident or damage to someone’s health. Large organizations are having separate department for Safety and Health. Health and Safety is not just about being socially responsible. It also makes good business sense and should regard it as just as important as the achievement of any other key business objective. In Offshore Oil and Gas fields there is the need for extra care due the uncertainties. Every personnel in offshore field has been provided safety training, health benefits and good working conditions to get physical and mental relaxation. Here the author is going to explain which kinds of safety health and environmental precautions are given to offshore industry which is not sometimes mandatory to onshore personnel. How these precautions are helpful even though lots of hazards are in this field?
