The present study aims to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) on knowledge sharing (KSB) behavior of faculties working university. The authors collected data from 217 faculties working in university MBA in India. The two-stage approach which includes confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to validate the relationship between and the impacts of EI on KSB. Results indicated that there exists a positive impact of EI on KSB. This article provides important implications for organizations by showing that EI plays a pivotal role in stimulating KSB of faculties working in university MBA in Chennai. This research contributes to the academic literature of EI and KS in specific and extends the organizational research studies in general.
