With the technological development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the educational environment in schools is gradually improving. Educational equipment is becoming incredibly high-tech, and electronic whiteboards are becoming commonplace in the classroom environment. However, reinstalling or updating the software for electronic whiteboards, whenever functions of the writing software are modified or changed, is inconvenient because the current electronic whiteboards are distributed with installed software. They also lack the ability to share documents bidirectionally between lecturer and students, who are the users of the electronic whiteboard. In this study, the development of web-based writing software is described, which is device independent and can be used to share documents easily between lecturers and students. The web-based writing software allows input by touch and provides a writing function that can be accessed using any device connected to the Internet. Therefore, it reduces software maintenance cost and improves accessibility. In addition, it improves the interaction between lecturers and students in a class by allowing sharing of documents bidirectionally.
