horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing tools are extensively used for economic stimulation and production from unconventional resources. In this study, a simulation method was performed for a shale gas field in Canada.In addition, a sensitivity analysis of gas production was conducted for a horizontal shale gas well with hydraulic fracturing. The simulation results indicated that by increasing the number of fractures and the width of the fractures inside the well, the amount of gas production from the reservoir increased. In this study, the effects of fracture half-length on gas production from shale gas reservoir were also investigated.
