The article is devoted to developing the fundamental economic theory based on forming new economic metrics. The law on managing advanced development of the company that produces and sells highly competitive products has been formulated and mathematically substantiated. The causal relationship has been defined between the emergence of new needs of the society and the possibility to meet them by creating products by manufacturers through discoveries and transformations in engineering and technology based on the sufficient resource base and a set of unique competencies. The mathematical model that makes it possible to carry out qualitative studies of the dynamics of economic indicators in accordance with the law on managing the company’s advanced development has been developed.
