The aim of this research is to discuss the concepts and practice of social entrepreneurship among mosque institutions in Malaysia.The method used in this study is qualitative analysis. A review of the extant literature and observation were carried out for collecting primary and secondary data. In-depth interviews with key informants such the chairman, bursary and secretary of the mosques institutions were also conducted.The findings have helped in developing a checklist framework for categorising and assisting the mosque institutions to transform into a mosquepreneur.The checklist formed is used as a guidelines in evaluating mosquepreneur in Malaysia.This study produces a new checklist of characteristics of the mosquepreneur model.
