The present research paper highlights the significance of training needs in this high-tech digital market environment which changes with the blink of an eye. In such a fast-changing business environment, companies continuously feel the need for introducing new training initiatives that will not only assist them to stay in the market but also to be ever new and updated also. This study is an effort to show the relationship between the training and the employee’s performance with special reference to Amazon – a fast online retail giant. The study is conducted on employees of Amazon in the year 2019 who are working on different product lines in various cities of India. This paper studies the impact of training programs adopted at Amazon. It also leaves a scope for further study for behavioral research which can be conducted on the mental satisfaction of Amazon employees.
