Abstract

This work is devoted to the investigation of the developed rotary-screw threshing machine for threshing leguminous crops, in order to determine its technological parameters. Working on the improvement of the design rotor-screw threshing machine, the necessity of using a working organ deforming only the bean shell was revealed for the achievement optimal indicators during threshing leguminous crops. In addition, the best results can be achieved by using that kind of deformation in which its shell is destroyed by shifting some of its parts relative to others. This technology is suitable for threshing leguminous crops. Their shells are not grown together with the core and for separation, it is enough to apply compression and shift deformations. According to the results of field researches, it was found the proposed design rotor-screw threshing machine allows to reduce energy consumption up to 30%, grain damage up to 1%, while the completeness of seed threshing is 98.6%. Using this method of threshing, there is no need to install multi-tiered devices for cleaning the grain heap. Grain threshing is possible at the high humidity (up to 18...22) %.
