The complex of quantitative indicators of production as a whole is the sum of the indicators of all processes carried out in the course of its activities. The machining process on the machine is discrete. At the same time, if we consider a separate operation (for example, milling), then on the time interval of milling (one working stroke) and the control of force parameters, cutting conditions, etc. the process can be considered as continuous. The division of the production process into phases (levels of the technological process) allows the classification of its parameters in depth. Each phase has its own characteristics, regardless of the specific type of manufactured products, localized at the place and time of execution and is a complete part of the production process. The specific type of manufactured products determines the composition of technological processes of various types (discrete, continuous, etc.) for each phase of production, the process parameters are classified in width at each level.
