The effectiveness of the functioning of the personnel management system largely depends on the information base. The latter is a collection of data on the state of the managed system and its development trends using the quantitative characteristics of the processes occurring in the composition of workers in their production and social environment. Actually, any management decision should be based on knowledge of the situation, influencing factors, their interconnections. Information contributes to the implementation of all management functions: planned, organizational, control, regulatory, distribution. The main source of primary information is the documents of the personnel departments (personal sheets for personnel records, personal cards of employees, personal files), orders and orders issued by the management of the enterprise and structural divisions regarding the personnel of employees, primary accounting and reporting documents on the work performed and the work performed payment, documentation of non-industrial structural units serving the enterprise, etc. The need to collect, store, process, analyze a large amount of diverse personnel information, provide it to users (management entities - personnel service and managers) in a convenient form poses the task of creating an appropriate information system at the enterprise.
