Transformational Leadership, General Competence, Special Competence, Affective Commitment, as an Impact on Lecturer Performance with Lecturer Certification as a Moderating Variable

The purpose of this study was to determine, analyze and study transformational leadership, general competence of lecturers, special competencies, lecturer affective commitment, lecturer performance, lecturer certification in the undergraduate management study program at a private university in the Bandung Metropolitan area. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as benchmarks for university leaders, deans, and heads of management studies programs in the Bandung Metropolitan metropolitan area to improve lecturer performance, which in turn will have an impact on achieving university performance. The research method uses SPPS with testing using AMOS, the research sample of 220 people with cluster proportionated random sampling method. The results of the study, transformational leadership variables, general competence of lecturers, and special competence of lecturers have a positive and significant effect on the affective commitment of lecturers then lecturer affective commitment has a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance with lecturer certification as a moderating variable in the Greater Bandung Metropolitan Area.
