The human femur is a critical load-bearing component and due to its length and prevailing boundary conditions, it will undergo buckling. In the present study, the buckling load characteristics of two different femur geometries have been studied. The neck-shaft angle (NSA) has been varied from 110° to 170° with a porosity level of 75%. The eigenvalue buckling analysis is performed in ANSYS with four different hyperelastic materials. The results show that the geometry variations have a greater impact on the buckling load multiplier. Also, the choice of a particular model and level of porosity are having a significant impact.
