In the current context of economic development, especially in the further development of entrepreneurship as the economic paradigm, the problem of the personality formation of a contemporary entrepreneur and the training of qualities of a businessman becomes of paramount importance. Therefore, it is urgent to solve the problem of quality training of entrepreneurship, which requires a rethinking and methodological justification of the business education process, as well as the use of innovative forms and technologies in the creation of educational programs for entrepreneurs. The aim of the present article is to substantiate the theoretical and practical foundations in the development of the educational component of contemporary entrepreneurship. The article defines the essence and main aspects of business education at the theoretical level, as well as presents the main development trends in education for entrepreneurs. Based on the expert survey, the authors determine the program competences that an entrepreneur should possess, and give the characteristics of innovative forms of electronic and blended learning based on the use of ICT in educational programs for entrepreneurs.
