Status of Using Water Sources in Vietnam

Abstract

Water resources are natural resources that can be regenerated but can also be depleted depending on the speed of human exploitation and the ability of the environment to regenerate. Nowadays, using water for all activities has become popular. However, the use of this resource has serious consequences for water resources. In Vietnam, the level of pollution and scarcity of water are on alert. The lack of clean water are directly affecting the lives of people since water resources are almost depleted for many reasons and are used improperly in agriculture, industry, civil, entertainment and environment activities. One of the most important reasons is due to human activity. This is the unreasonable use of water resources that has led to serious consequences affecting the human environment and all living things on earth. The paper focuses on the current status of using water in Vietnam with the aim of introducing briefly about water resources and water use of people in general and Vietnamese people in particular. Since then, the article has highlighted the importance of water resources, contributing to raising people's awareness in protecting this resource as well as protecting their own living environment.
