This research is conducted to determine the impact of factors affecting job satisfaction resulting in job retention of high-performance employees in the retail sector in Vietnam. The predictors of job satisfaction are revealed under the human resource manager‟s perspectives. Through the snowball sampling technique, 250middlelevel managers and high-performance staff from retail enterprises in Vietnam randomly interviewed. The results illustrate job satisfaction, which is impacted by corporate culture, growth and development, remuneration, empowerment, achievement, recognition, work-life balance, has a positive effect on job retention of high performers in the retail industry. Based on the findings, managerial implications can be drawn for there tail enterprises to retain their high performers.
