The features of the musical language, the complexity of concepts and images, the high technical requirements for performers, the aesthetic needs of young people that go beyond the academic music of the 20th century, make its perception by listeners problematic. The purpose of the study is to test in practice the methods of modern sociocultural activity used in concert and educational events based on the material of the musical avantgarde and identify the most effective ones. As a practical study has shown, the greatest result is achieved through the use of an interdisciplinary approach in cultural and educational activities. The main conclusion of the study is that interdisciplinary approaches, as well as other modern sociocultural technologies for the mastering of the music of the 20th century, actualize the aesthetic, cognitive, emotional and figurative, as well as motivational, nature of people‟s sociocultural activity.
