Today, the opportunities offered by technology are an indispensable part of society. The possibilities provided by the technology are also used in the field of communication and increase its importance every day. Technology influences the behavior of individuals in interpersonal communication and triggers a number of changes in the socialization process of society. At this point, instead of face-to-face communication, individuals can now turn to communication via technological tools. In some cases, the intensity of using technological tools can increase and this situation may affect the links in interpersonal communication. In this context, it is important that the family environment, which is thought to be the main factor in the formation of the society, is the place where the basic communication skills of the individual are first learned. Considering the opportunities provided by technology, it is necessary to determine and evaluate the behaviors of family members in terms of communication during the hours spent together. In line with this purpose, the role of technology in the behavior of individuals in family communication has been shown to play an important effect.
