Abstract

In the recent past, the Internet of Things (IoT) could permit healthcare unit to monitor patients remotely by managing through wireless sensors output with utilization of big data analysis. The crucial spinal cord injury and paralysation is important anxiety in the field of biomedical. The patient’s absent of movement is incorporated with post-operative stages and physical paralysation obscure the patient lives and issue the healthcare professionals and family members to an extreme burden. The main aim of the proposed methodology is to simplify the execution of caring patients those may not move and lie permanently on a bed. In this paper, a Precise Medical Bed (PMB) is implemented to provide innovative solution for most challenging issues in an accurate and efficient approach through time and cost wise perceptions. In the proposed methodology, PMB could navigate itself through the track and overcome any obstacles in front of it in the hospital premises. The front wheels of PMB help the bed to turn right or left and back wheels help the bed to move forward and backward. The ultrasonic sensors are fixed at front side to detect any obstacles. A track is built in the hospital to run the PMB and speed of PMB is dynamic. An android phone or computer could communicate with a specific android application that the doctor could able to relocate PMB to any other room, operation theatre or medical laboratory easily. It will provide details of physiological information of patient such as oxygen level, heart rate, pulse rate, blood pressure, temperature level that is connected with PMP. This information is updated frequently through IoT and large information is stored in cloud using big data analysis. The experimental results prove that the proposed methodology is high efficient and accurate.
