This article studies the role of innovation and investment risk management. The purpose of this article is to identify the main patterns determining the characteristics of risk assessment in business as the main element contributing to the achievement of the economic safety of an organization, as well as a comparative analysis of methods for assessing and managing innovation and investment risks. To prevent negative financial results in innovative projects, various methods of forecasting, risk analysis and modelling of final indicators are used. The article provides a comparative analysis of qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing innovation and investment risks.
