Assessment Understanding of Educational Technology for the Achievement of Student Critical Thinking Skills

Abstract

This study aims to develop an assessment of understanding of educational technology concept based on critical thinking ability for students. The implementation of this research will refer to the 4-D model (define, design, development, and dissemination), which includes: learner analysis, concept analysis, task analysis that relates to the concept of educational technology, designing assessment, reviewing and validating, evaluation with expert judgment and empirical test statistically, and revised draft assessment of understanding consumer education concepts, instruments and rubrics, dissemination. Produce a set of assessment instruments assuming the idea of educational technology-based thinking ability. Obtained 37 items that meet the requirements of a good thing for the assessment instrument grasping the concept of consumer education technology based on thinking ability, students' critical thinking ability classified as very good as 31 (86%) people, while included in the excellent category as much as 5 (14%) person. Students who are classified as competent as many as 33 people and who are not qualified there are three people.
