Abstract

New implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) in the medical is widely used. This project was successfully design to build a real-time monitoring system for early emergency case. Vital Signs Patient Monitoring System for Emergency Response with Internet of Things (IoT) platform being developed in this study. This system used to evaluate the main three parameters in vital signs information. This system focused on collection patient’s temperature, heart beat rate and electrocardiograph (ECG) of patient in ambulance. All the results being displayed in the Blynk Application as IoT platform in this study. The condition of the patient can be monitored thoroughly by the doctor at the hospital until the ambulance reach hospital. By using Blynk Applications, the doctor at the emergency department can closely monitor the patient’s condition in the ambulance in real time via wireless connection provided by ESP8266 module. Through this Blynk Application also, the doctor can monitor patient through a live streaming from the ambulance so that the doctor will well-prepared in term of vital sign data for each of emergency patient when patient reached hospital.
