Water is essential for the growth of plants; there can be no crops if there is no access of water .Therefore it is essential to supply water to plants and crops periodically as per the requirement, the water for irrigation mainly depends on Dams. We examine the inflow and outflow of water in Mettur Dam using Trend Renewal Process (TRP).TRP depends on a renewal distribution in conjunction with trend function, constitute the non-homogeneous Poisson process and renewal process. The Method of fabricating the predictors is given both when the renewal distribution of TRP is known and unknown.
