Performance Evaluation of Constant Current Controllers used in Fast Charging of Electric Vehicle with Fuel Cell System

In the present paper, the Converter topology is used as a building block for a fuel cell (FC) system offering compactness and low cost. To move towards alternative energy sources a FC system is used to get required input for the converter used to fast charging of EVs. State space averaged model is designed to design a PI Controller for the converter. But it has some complexity in design to overcome this a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) is designed to get required output from the converter. And the output of converter is used for fast charging of Battery in EV. Considered system is simulated in MATLab for 48Kwh/120A as output to get fast charging of battery and is presented in detail.
