Development Of Electric Vehicle On-Board Charger Using Cc & Cv Modes And Hardware Implementation

This paper presents the development of electric vehicle on-board charger using cc and cv modes and comparison between hardware and software results.In India electric vehicles are in starting stage and that is why electric vehicle charging in houses and offices are less due to which the portable chargers are costlier and charging at stations is not possible every time, so we designed a level-1 charger with low cost which is portable. The main objective of the Development of the Electric Vehicle on-board charger is to design an electric vehicle charger of level-1 with low cost and more reliable using IEC60309 and IEC62196 connectors which is approved by Bharat EV specifications and software model in MATLAB with simulation results will be done. In this project we have studied about EVSE (ELECTRIC VEHICLE SYSTEM EQUIPMENT) and level-1 charger. A prototype model of 7.4V Liion battery in hardware using Arduino and for fast charging we used CC and CV modes. So, in this project the working and about the components, and a prototype working model will be implemented.
