Design And Testing Of Monopole Wearable Textile Antenna For Radar Applications

A Monopole based wearable antenna is designed and analyzed using Advanced Design system 2011.01(ADS) Simulation tool. The proposed antenna is designed to work at X band frequency range (8GHZ- 12 GHZ) for radar applications. A textile material is used as dielectric to make the antenna more flexible and best suits for the wearable applications. The fundamental Antenna parameters that satisfy the basic antenna standards are obtained. After performing various parametric analyses, the antenna is fabricated and tested successfully.
