Improvement Of Power Quality By Using Solar Distribution Generation Based Anfis UPQC

Abstract

This paper exhibits the enhancement of the performance of distribution system by deploying ANFISUPQC based on Photovoltaic (PV) Distributed Generation (DG) unit. The typical problem with traditional fuzzy controller is that the parameters related with the membership functions and the standards depend comprehensively on the instinct of the specialists. To defeat this issue, Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) based controller configuration is suggested. The controller is made from Fuzzy controller with two sources of input and one output. ANFIS produces the appropriate fuzzy controller in compliance with the error of the control system. In a complex conventional power system, power plant is associated with the load connected through long transmission and distribution lines. For improving the performance of distribution system the new idea appeared known as custom power devices. One of the custom power device is unified power quality conditioner (UPQC). This proposed system is simulated in 2018a MATLAB software.
