Intelligent Vehicle Communication For Collision Avoidance

According to 2018 statistics the number of car accidents are 4,70,000. This is mainly due todrink and drive, breaking the speed limits and abnormal conditions of the driver. This paper presents proposal of using new technology to reduce car accidents. For that purpose, electronic devices are used to avoid accidents by controlling the vehicle in critical situations. Raspberry pi is an IOT device which is used to collect the data from different sensors used in this system and control the vehicle based on the data obtained. While driving there are several cases which causes accidents. So for avoiding collision, we use different type of sensors. Each sensor has its own threshold values. When the sensor reaches its threshold value then the vehicle gets slow down and stopped. GSM module is used to send messages to the hospital and police station. GPS module is used to track the location of the vehicle. RF module is used for the communication between the car and the kit.
