This project proposes the new quasi Z-source inverter which has a common ground to improve the efficiency of quasi Z-source inverter. Efficiency is increased to reduce conduction loss, for this, replacement of diode takes place by replacing switches. This approach is known as synchronous rectification. This inverter provides high boost capability, smaller inductance and capacitance values and higher modulation index to improve the output waveform.
