Abstract

In this paper we propose the hybrid stand alone power generating systems which consist of wind, diesel, and PV and power electronics converters. Mainly in this paper we are considering our proposed system is operating in standalone mode of operations to the micro grid and our generators are mainly blushless generators. However a diesel generator (DG) set and a battery energy storage system (BESS) are also used to maintain the reliability of the proposed framework. The proposed topology has the upside of diminished switching devices and simple control. The executed topology has DG set as an ac source. The wind generator and the sun oriented PV cluster are dc sources which are associated with the dc connection of the VSC. The BESS is additionally utilized at the dc link to encourage the momentary power balance under unique conditions. Alongside the framework coordination, the VSC likewise has the ability to mitigate the power quality issues, for example, harmonic currents, load balance, and voltage regulation. The proposed system is verified in MATLAB/SIMILINK.
