This paper has attempted to draw a causal map explaining the whole process involved in the Korean ODA projects especially with regard to sustainability of ODA projects, using the system dynamics method, which has rarely been used in the analysis of ODA projects, and to identify the causal loops affecting sustainability of ODA policies of Korea. The research result shows that four reinforcing causal loops and four balancing causal loops exist in the entire causal map explaining the sustainability of ODA project. This implies that the Korean Government should pay more attention to four reinforcing causal loops and four balancing causal loops in order to increase sustainability of ODA policies in the whole ODA-related policy process.
