Abstract

Due to the access to modern platforms of education, there is an equal opportunity is being created by learners from various backgrounds. Knowledge sharing mechanisms help the learner community with necessary skills that are required for the specific time period without compromising their everyday routine works. There are lot of platforms which have emerged to cater the needs of the learners and this enhancing competition pose the problem of reduction in revenue for the business owners of the platforms. Understanding the consumer behavior of the learners enrolling for the courses and their selection would help the business owners to sustain in the market by targeting the customers which would enhance their profit margins. This paper deals with the constructs that are affecting the adoption of massive open online courses.
